This data flow is sent to Other ITS roadway equipment in order to report the status of a variable speed limit system, including automated or remotely controlled systems used to manage speed dynamically at the roadway. By monitoring this data flow, the receiving process can monitor the health and current status of field equipment. It consists of the following data items each of which is defined in its own DDE:
