7.6.1: Process Advanced Road Usage Payment

This page shows the collection of processes that make up the Process VMT Payment facility within the Provide Open Road Tolling function. The processes in this group enable payments for tolls to be made by drivers without stopping and also support a flexible toll price structure by supporting applications like Open Road Tolling and arrangements based on Vehicle Miles Traveled (VMT) or usage of certain road or facilities. These processes transact the payments for roads without traditional toll facilities. This includes the collection of payment and the setting of prices and policies, including those dealing with VMT based schemes.
