2.4.4: Provide Commercial Vehicle Driver Interface

This process shall be responsible for providing the interface between the commercial vehicle driver and processes on-board the commercial vehicle. When the process is initiated (e.g., the vehicle is started) this process shall query the driver to input their id and credentials. When a new driver is detected - seat changed, biometric change detected, or informed by the analysis process - this process shall query the driver for updated credentials. The process shall provide interfaces to the processes responsible for collecting, analyzing and storing data about the vehicle, its cargo, the driver, etc., and for the exchange of data with the commercial vehicle fleet manager. The process shall support inputs from the driver in both manual and audio form, and shall provide its outputs in audible and visual forms. It shall enable the visual output to be in hardcopy, or as a display. This process shall provide data from vehicle access monitors to the driver and to be forwarded on to fleet and service providers. This process shall provide the driver an interface to see the configuration of the vehicle and to initiate alert messages to alert to nearby vehicles to about the size, weight, dimensions, and other special configuration data about the host commercial vehicle.
