10.1.4.1: Identify Misbehaving Connected Vehicle Devices
This process shall receive reports concerning misbehavior from end entities (devices, systems, applications participating in the connected vehicle environment). This process shall analyze each of these incoming misbehavior reports. Information shall be provided to the system operator and identify which issues may warrant additional investigation. This process shall correlate investigated misbehavior reports with end entities in order to identify systemic issues - defects, bad actor, etc. If revocation is warranted, this process shall provide information to Authorization or Revocation components either locally or in another Cooperative ITS Credentials Management System to initiate revocation and/or blacklisting, as appropriate. This process shall provide the system operator with status information about the transmission of credentials and information about identification and investigation of misbehaving connected vehicle devices.
