10.1.5: Protect End-User Privacy

This process shall receive incoming messages from vehicle or personal mobile devices within the connected vehicle environment. If the messages indicate the presence of personal information to be protected, then this process shall strip the personal data and resend it to the final destination. This process shall support the configuration of parameters on the functions related to aggregating data from different users as well as decrypting and reencrypting data for retransmission. This process shall maintain a secure environment for end users data by not storing any data that contains personally identifiable information (PII) longer than needed to complete a transaction or transmission of data.
