2.9.3: Manage Commercial Vehicle Permits

This process shall manage the request for and updates to commercial vehicle and commercial vehicle driver permits. This process shall use data collected from on-board vehicles including credentialed driver logs to support the process. This process shall send the requests for permits to the appropriate commercial vehicle administration center, depending on the jurisdiction. This process shall monitor the vehicle data and determine if a malfunction has occurred with the vehicle or its sensors. This process, when necessary, shall provide a malfunction report to the appropriate commercial vehicle administration center, depending on the jurisdiction and nature of the malfunction. This process shall provide non-compliance reports
