1.1.1.8: Collect Roadside Asset Data

This process collects data using sensors alongside the roadway to detect assets in close proximity such as infrastructure, construction equipment, and other field assets or devices. Data concerning the presence of these field assets is collected and aggregated in order to provide the data to the managing center based processes. If a faulty device is detected that will also be communicated to the managing center.
