2.8.3.5: Provide Freight Equipment Status

This process shall be responsible for providing the interface for direct query of intermodal freight equipment status or location by the Distribution and Logistics Management Provider or commercial vehicle roadside equipment. The process shall provide the ability to output the individual parameters, or to output a general status indication such as 'green'/'red'. The process shall have the ability to output the status of the container monitoring function (output of container monitoring self test).
