10.6.1.1: Provide Transportation Center Data Sharing Services

This process represents a number of transportation related centers that have data to provide or need data from other transportation centers. This process shall provide requests for information that include the type of data requested and any authorization credentials that may be required to be eligible for the data. This process shall accept requests for data from the Provide Driver and Traveler Services and other functions within the transportation environment. This process shall maintain a catalog of the data available to other requesters. This process shall determine if the requesting process is authorized to request the data. This process shall provide the data to the authorized requesting process either as a one time transmission or periodically. This process shall send the Provide Driver and Traveler Services function data to be broadcast, made available upon travelers' request/subscription, or sent to certain geographical areas - all based on a set of parameters provided to the Traveler Information Center administrator.
